Vor ein paar Tagen wurde an dieser Stelle schon die Coverversion der Baseballs zum Lied "Umbrella" vorgestellt. Und hier kommt nun der zweite Streich. Ebenfalls von dem Album "STRIK!" ist hier ein Cover des Songs "Bleeding Love" von Leona Lewis zu hören. Mit dem Swing der 50er Jahre wirkt es nicht ganz so traurig und herzzerreißend wie das Original, aber ist dennoch gefühlvoll vorgetragen. Nur weiter so :)

Elvis lebt! Naja, nicht wirklich, aber sein Geist und Können schweben immer noch über dem Musikgeschäft und ab und zu traut sich mal ein Künstler an altes Material und covert oder verändert so ein Stück Geschichte.
In diesem speziellen Fall haben "the Baseballs" es ein wenig anders gemacht. Im Stile von Elvis und den 50ern wurde der relativ neue Song "Umbrella" von Rihanna gecovert ( bzw auf "alt" gemacht und eingesungen. Outfit und Stimme passen wie Faust aufs Auge. Echt klasse, macht wirklich Spaß zuzuhören und zuzusehen. Das ganze nennt sich laut Gruppe "Wok n Roll" und soll Elemente des Rock n Roll mit Elementen des Sprechgesangs verbinden. Sehr interessant

Die Lyrics wurden bei diesem Projekt nicht verändert, daher kann man dabei einfach bei Rihanna bleiben und mitsingen ;)
