Es ist mal wieder Zeit für eine wirklich sehr schöne Ballade. Gesungen wird "two is better than one" von der Gruppe "Boys like Grils" mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung von Taylor Swift. Der Song hat einfach alles was man von ihm erwarten kann und darf. Ruhige Stellen werden von kraftvollen Passagen abgelöst und summa sumarum ergibt sich ein gelungenes Gesamtkonzept.
Das Album "Love Drunk" erscheint in Kürze im Handel.

Diesmal gibt es hier kein brandneues Lied zu hören, dafür aber eine absolute Video-Premiere zu feiern. Zu dem sehr schönen Stück "Melody" von Kate Earl gibt es jetzt ein sehr hübsches Video zu sehen.
Der Song ist wirklich gelungen, mit einem Refrain der zum Träumen einlädt und der wunderbar angenehmen Stimme von Frau Earl passt da einfach alles.
Zurücklehnen und genießen.
Wer solche Musik hört denkt mitunter schnell mal an die erfolgreiche Krankenhausserie "Grey's Anatomy", und genau so ist es auch;) Nicht genau dieses Lied, aber mit "Someone to love" konnte sie dort schon einmal auftrumpfen.

Neue Musik, wenn es mal wieder brennen sollte.
Mit diesem zugegeben schlechten Wortspielt soll auf die neue Single "Parallels" der Gruppe In case of fire hingewiesen werden.
Das sehr rockig und kraftvoll daherkommende Stück beginnt erstaunlich leise und ruhig, da denkt man zuerst an eine Schnulze a la Snowpatrol oder dergleichen.
Aber da geht es dann doch ganz anders zu ;)

In keinem Club, auf keiner Party und auch im Radio kommt man gerade um den Hit "I know you wnt me" von Pittbull nicht herum. Gute Laune, ein dicker Beat, es passt einfach alles. Aber es geht auch ein wenig chilliger und entspannter. Das zeigt Pittbull mit dem Song "Across the world". Sehr lässig, mehr Elektrosound und alles auch eine Spur leiser. Nicht unbedingt der Track zum abgehen, aber hören kann man es trotzdem ganz gut.

Passend zum grade gewesenen Muttertag gibt es vom Album "Songs for my mother" von Ronan Keatin das Lied "this is your song" zu hören. Wieder eine sehr schönes Stück, im Stile einer Ballade gehalten und mit seh viel Gefühl gesunden. Viele Worte braucht man da gar nicht mehr verlieren. Der Song spricht einfach für sich.

Gran Torino - Theme Song

Clint Eastwood ist nicht nur einer der größten Regisseure und Schauspieler, er hat auch Talente als Sänger. Mit seiner markanten und verdammt rauchigen Stimme ist er im Themesong seines aktuellen und leider letzten Aktionfilms "Gran Torino" zu sehen und hören. Beeindruckend, mehr kann man da eigentlich nicht mehr zu sagen. Ein sehr ruhiges gefühlvolles Stück. Warum es keine Nomminierung für einen Oscar in der Kategorie "Best Song" gibt bleibt wohl ein Rätsel...

Zur späten Stunde noch ein eingängier Song der Sängerin Lily Allen. Mit "Absolutely Nothing" liefert sie ein sehr schönes Stück Popmusik ab. Trotz ihrer jungen Jahre hat diese ambitionierte und mehrfach ausgezeichnete Künstlerin schon viel in ihrem Leben mitmachen müssen ( Fehlgeburt und wegelaufener Partner )
Dies schlägt sich jedoch nicht negativ auf ihre Musik aus. Viel Spaß beim hören!
