Nelly Furtado - Manos Al Aire

Neuer Stoff von Nelly Furtado. Das spanischsprachige Werk "Manos al aire" kommt nicht mit ganz so viel Pepp daher wie andere Stücke ( Maneater ) aber hat dennoch ordentliches Hitpotential und klingt definitiv sehr angenehm. Zu hören ist "Manos al aire" auf dem ersten komplett spanischen Album "mi plan".

Die Single kommt am 31. Juli, das Album am 25. September in den Handel

David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over

Ein heißer Kandidat für den Titel Sommerhit und auch Partyhit des Jahres. Ex Destiny's Child Sängerin Kelly Rowland im Zusammenspiel mit David Guetta haben meiner Meinung nach mit "When love takes over" genau den Ton getroffen, den man für einen erfolgreichen Song braucht. Gute Laune stellt sich ganz schnell ein und tanzbar ist das ganze dann auch noch. Und mit dem hier gezeigten Video gibt es auch gleich noch was in HD-Qualität auf die Augen. Was will man da mehr? Gutes Wetter, dann hat man aber auch schon alles ;)

Wer mehr von David Guetta hören möchte, dem sei das Album "one love" ans Herz gelegt.

Iggy Pop - King Of The Dogs

Sau cooles Video von Iggy Pop. Dem unverwüstlichen Punk-Rocker ist hier ein wirklich gutes Stück Mukke geglückt. Klingt wie eine Aufnahme aus den 30-40 oder 50 er Jahren, klasse Trompete und sehr soullastig - vielleicht auch Blues - gesungen. Und das Video mit den Hunden kann auch einfach alles.
Die Rede ist von dem Song "King of the Dogs" aus dem bald erscheindendem Album "Préliminaires", welches am 25 Mai in die Läden kommen soll.

Anschauen und zuhören, mehr kann man dazu einfach nicht sagen;)

Passend zum grade gewesenen Muttertag gibt es vom Album "Songs for my mother" von Ronan Keatin das Lied "this is your song" zu hören. Wieder eine sehr schönes Stück, im Stile einer Ballade gehalten und mit seh viel Gefühl gesunden. Viele Worte braucht man da gar nicht mehr verlieren. Der Song spricht einfach für sich.

Franz Ferdinand, ihres Zeichens Indi-Rocker aus Glasgow, sind wieder mit einer neuen Single am Start. "No you girls" klingt in dem bekannten Franz Ferdinand Sound. Die Single ist die erste Auskopplung aus dem kommenden Album "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand".

Blumio feat. Zemine - Rosenkrieg

Ein interessanter Song kommt von Blumio. Den Namen sollte man sich merken, hat definitiv Potential. Auch wenn der Song "Rosenkrieg" von seinem Album "Yellow" sich mit einem eher nicht so lustigem Thema beschäftigt kann man doch den Humor darin nicht verleugnen. Neben der eher gerappten Streitpassagen wird das ganze mit einer Opernsängerin ( oder zumindest einer sehr starken Stimme ) immer wieder aufgelockert. Und auch die (Schwieger)mutter darf man nicht vergessen. Hört es euch am besten selber mal an ;)

Milow - You don't know

Wird das die nächste Singleauskopplung von Milow aus dem gleichnamigen Album? Man weiß es noch nicht, aber es ist gut möglich. Der Song "You don't know" ist auch einfach Klasse und steht dem aktuellen Hit "Ayo technology" in Sachen Qualität und Klang nichts nach. Ebenfalls ein Meisterwerk des belgischen Singer/Songwriters Milow. Auch wenn zuerst Ayo technology offiziell in den Handel gekommen ist (13.03) könnte "You don't know" ein gut vorstellbarer Nachfolger sein.

Er ist wieder da. Und hat sich nicht verändert. Der beste weiße Rapper aller Zeiten, Eminem, macht wieder von sich reden. Elli - Shadows

Man könnte meinen heute ist DSDS-Tag. Aber hier kommt tatsächlich noch eine ehemalige Gewinnerin aus einer der vorangegangenen Staffeln. Die Rede ist von Elli. Damals noch mit roten Haaren bis an die Spitze gestürmt, dann mit Bohlen und seiner Musikmaschinerie gebrochen und den eigenständigen Sprung in das Haifischbecken Musikindustrie gewagt gibt es nun wieder ein neues Lied und Video von ihr zu hören und zu sehen. "Shadows" heißt der Track und ist die erste Singleauskopplung des bald erscheinenden Albums "Human"
Stimmlich ist Elli auf jeden Fall eine der besseren SiegerInnen gewesen. Ein schöner Rocksong, solide gemacht, nicht zu viel Kitsch und Effekte. Wirklich angenehm.

Oha, das kling auf den ersten Blick ( bzw Hören ) mal komisch und ein wenig lustig an. Vicky Leandros, ihres Zeichen Schlagersängerin, veruscht sich mit dem Song "Möge der Himmel" im Bereich Pop und Sprechgesang. Also andere können es besser, soviel muss einfach mal gesagt sein. Aber vielleicht muss man es auch einfach nur öfter hören bis man es mag bzw es beser klingt.

Bushido & Straßenkobra - Kennst du die Stars

Geil geil geil, mehr kann man zu diesem Track nicht sagen. Einfach nur herrlich. Bushido hat sich für die 3. Single aus seinem Album "Heavy Metal Payback - Premium Edition" Unterstützung von der Straßenkobra aka Oliver Pocher geholt. Der Mörder-Track heißt "Kennst du die Stars" und rechnet schonunglos mit allen (möchtegern) Stars und Sternchen der deutschen und internationalen Medienlandschaft ab. Neben Comedy kommt auch der Rap / HipHop nicht zu kurz.

Noch nicht im Handel erhältlich, aber hier schonmal zum Reinhören. Die nächste Single von Mando Dia wird "Gloria heißen und trumpft mit einem fantastischen Refrain auf. Voller Energie und ideal zum mitsingen. Damit dürfte die Erfolgsstory des ALbums "Give me fire" im Jahre 2009 weitergehen.

My Excellence - The end of days

Crossover aus Österreich mit Einflüssen von Pop bis Klassik. Die Rede ist von My Excellence. Die Band bringt ihr neues Album "Pomp's not dead" am 01. Mai unter die Leute, die Single "The end of days" soll ab dem 10.April in den Läden stehen.

5Bugs - In Between

Guter Alternativ Rock aus der deutschen Hauptstadt Berlin, dafür stehen 5Bugs. Die seit nunmehr 8 Jahren bestehende Combo bringt in Kürze ihr 3 Album auf den Markt. Ein "Best off" Album mit eben diesem Titel. Die erste Single daraus wird der Song "in between" sein. Mit dem Eingangssatz der guten Musik ist dann im Grunde auch schon alles gesagt, genau das erwartet einen bei 5Bugs!
