Der breiten Masse noch nicht so ganz bekannt, machen die "the von bondies" doch trotz allem richtig gute Musik. Mit dem Song "Pale Bride" steht auch aktuell ein frisches Video zur Verfügung. Es wird ordentlich gerockt und eine ganze Menge Energie frei. Viel mehr braucht man dazu auch gar nicht sagen. Just good music. Zum Mitsingen eignet sich vor allem der Refrain;)

In Case Of Fire - Parallels

Neue Musik, wenn es mal wieder brennen sollte.
Mit diesem zugegeben schlechten Wortspielt soll auf die neue Single "Parallels" der Gruppe In case of fire hingewiesen werden.
Das sehr rockig und kraftvoll daherkommende Stück beginnt erstaunlich leise und ruhig, da denkt man zuerst an eine Schnulze a la Snowpatrol oder dergleichen.
Aber da geht es dann doch ganz anders zu ;)

Panik - Lass mich fallen

Gar nicht so einfach gerade ein Video zum neuen Song "Lass mich fallen" der Gruppe "Panik" zu finden, aber dieses hier funktionier zur Zeit noch.
Als kleines Manko, oder aber auch netten Zusatz, ganz wie man es betrachtet, bekommt man gleich den SOngtext im Video mitgeliefert. Das ist jedoch kein Grund auf den hier gewohnten Service zu verzichten und keine Lyrics bereit zu stellen.
Der Song an sich ist knackig, rockig und genau richtig, wenn man mal wieder ein wenig Dampf ablassen will und was lauter mitsingen möchte ;)

Arctic Monkeys - Crying Lightning

Neue Musik von den Affen aus der Arktis. Die Artic Monkeys sind mit dem Track "Crying Lightning" wieder auf einem guten Weg in die Radios und Charts dieser Welt. Der Song ist eine klassische Rocknummer, es baut sich langsam ein Spannungsbogen auf, der jedoch nicht übertrieben hochgepusht wird und im Verlaufe des Liedes konstant hochgehalten wird. Auf jeden Fall eine höhrenswerte Nummer.
Und obendrein wird auch noch ein ganz interessantes Video gelieftert. Die vier Musiker in einer kleinen Mußschale irgendwo auf dem stürmischen Meer. Hat man so auch nocht nicht gesehen ;)

DÚNÉ - Heat

Hier kommt ein richtiger Kracher von der Band DÚNÉ. Der Track heißt "Heat" und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Da steckt richtig Dampf und Feuer drin, ein echter Knaller zum Abgehen. Rockig, aber nicht zu hart, also auch was für die breite Partymasse.
Den meisten dürften die Indie-Rocker Aus Dänemark noch nicht sonderlich bekannt sein, aber mit dem Song könnte sich das jetzt schlagartig ändern. Kann ich mir absolut gut in den Charts vorstellen.

Die Single "Heat" steht ab dem 31.7 im Handel.

Aktuell ist die Musik von Dune mit ihrem Track "Heat"in der Programmvorschau von Pro7 zu hören. Damit sollte es durchaus möglich sein, mehr Bekanntheit in deutschen Landen zu erlangen ;)

Kilians - Hometown

Indie-Rock aus deutschen Landen, genauer aus Dinslaken in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Die neue Single der Band Kilians heißt "Hometown" und ist, wie man es von den Jungs gewohnt ist, echt gut zu hören. Es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis der Song seinen Weg ins Radio und hoffentlich auch die Charts geschafft hat.

Veröffentlichungsdatum soll der 10. Juli sein.

Der Frontmann der Band Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, ist mit einem neuen Song am Start. "Her Diamonds" heißt das gute Stück. Ein gewohnt guter Rocksong, zusammen mit der bekannten Stimme von Mr. Thomas; Potential für einen Ohrwurm;)

Neuer Song von Reamonn. Mit "Moments like this" ist es der Band mal wieder gelungen, einen echten Ohrwurm zu produzieren. Auch mit den rockigen Gitarren bleibt der Song im Grunde doch ruhig und wird nicht zu laut. Die unverwechselbare Stimme von Frontman Rea tut ihr übriges. Weiter so!

Elli - Shadows

Man könnte meinen heute ist DSDS-Tag. Aber hier kommt tatsächlich noch eine ehemalige Gewinnerin aus einer der vorangegangenen Staffeln. Die Rede ist von Elli. Damals noch mit roten Haaren bis an die Spitze gestürmt, dann mit Bohlen und seiner Musikmaschinerie gebrochen und den eigenständigen Sprung in das Haifischbecken Musikindustrie gewagt gibt es nun wieder ein neues Lied und Video von ihr zu hören und zu sehen. "Shadows" heißt der Track und ist die erste Singleauskopplung des bald erscheinenden Albums "Human"
Stimmlich ist Elli auf jeden Fall eine der besseren SiegerInnen gewesen. Ein schöner Rocksong, solide gemacht, nicht zu viel Kitsch und Effekte. Wirklich angenehm.

ab dem 24.April ist die Scheibe im Handel erhältlich.

Metallica - Broken, Beat and Scarred

Rock at it's best. Da kommt den meisten als erstes Metallica in den Sinn. Und die Burschen geben wieder richtig Gas. Bei diesem Live-Music-Video zeigt sich zum einen das bombastische Auftreten und abfackeln einer dicken Show, auf der anderen Seite aber auch das begeisterte Publikum voller ergebener Fans. Kein Wunder, sind Metallica doch schon seit etlichen Jahren am Olymp des Hard-Rock und scheinen dort auch noch eine ganze Weile zu bleiben.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero

Rock aus dem Big Apple. Dafür stehen die "Yeah Yeah Yeahs". Mit der Singleauskopplung "Zero" bringen sie nach 3 Jahren Pause wieder einen Song raus. Und der geht wirklich gut ab. Trotz der Rock-Elemente wie einem deftigen Schlagzeug und ordentlich Gitarrenklägen wirkt das ganze sehr melodisch und geht ohne Umwege direkt ins Ohr.
Man darf gespannt sein, ob dieser Single auch bald ein neues Album folgen wird oder nicht. Aber bis es in diesem Punkt Klarheit gibt kann man sich ja auch einfach "Zero" bis zum Umfallen anhören;)

Nickelback - I'd come for you

Nach langer Pause hört man wieder neue Musik von Nickelback. Mit der Single "I'd come for you" von ihrem aktuellen Album "Dark Horse" bringen sie mal wieder einen Song ganz nach ihrem Maß heraus. Passagen zum Mitsiungen, Rock und Ballade fein kombiniert und natürlich Chad Kroegers unverkennbare Stimme. In dieser Hinsicht also keine Veränderungen festzustellen, ausser den geglätteten Haaren des Frontmanns, der seine Locken wohl nicht mehr mag ;)

The Maccabees – No kind word

The Maccabees, ihres Zeichen Indie Rocker aus Brighton, zeigen sich spendabel und stellen auf ihrer Homepage die erste Singleauskopplung ihres brandneuen(zweiten) Albums „Wall of arms“. Der Song heißt „No kind word“ und klingt verdammt gut. Geht quasi direkt ins Ohr und bleibt dort auch erstmal hängen. Das Video ist ein wenig „strange“ wirkt wie eine Mischung aus Clockwork Orange und 80er Jahre Computerspielgraphik... Aber es hat auch was;)

Zeromancer - Sinners International

Die rockenden Norweger werden schon bald wieder die Ohren mit lauten Gitarren und aggressiven Lyrics auf eine harte Probe stellen
"Zeromancer" stehen für viel Elektro, viel Lautstärke, schweißtreibende live-acts und Texten die man im labilen Zustand meiden sollte.
"Sinners International" ist ihr 4. Album nach zzyzx, eurotrash und clone your lover. der gleichnamige Track "Sinners International" klingt gewohnt rockig, gewohnt Zeromancer.
dass Zeromancer wirklich nichts für schwache Nerven sind beweist auch die Aussage von Sänger und Bassist Kim
Kim sagt, dass 90 % seiner Lyrics von gescheiterten Beziehungen und Negativ-Emotionen handeln.

Pussy Cat Dolls - Bad Girl

Die zur Zeit schwer beschäftigten Pussy Cat Dolls aus L.A. ( aktuell Tour durch Deutschland - im Gepäck eine mittlerweile gute Bekannte: Lady Gaga ) haben einen neuen Song am Start: "Bad Girl". Wie der Titel schon verlauten läßt diesmal nicht ganz so peppig und fröhlich beschwingt, sondern eine Spur härter und cooler aufgelegt. Aber wie man es von den Damen kennt, auch hier ist Hit-Potential vorhanden.

Selig - Schau Schau

Die hamburger Gruppe Selig meldet sich mit dem neuen Lied "Schau Schau" nach einer langen Schaffenspause (10 Jahre!) zurück auf der Bildfläche. Neben dem neuen Album “Und endlich unendlich” sowie der ersten Single ging die offizielle Homepage www.selig.eu online. Eingefleischte Fans dürfte es freuen, dass die Band auch zur anstehenden Festival-Saison wieder am Start sein wird.

Das neue Video zum Lied Schau Schau mit Elementen aus der Augsburger Puppenkiste oder aber Einflüssen von einem alten N Sync Song sind zu erkennen. Wer weiß, was damit gemeint sein könnte? :)
