Musik aus Schweden und ausnahmsweise mal nicht von Abba, A-ha oder weiteren üblichen Verdächtigen. Die Rede ist hier von Anna Ternheim mit ihrem Song "Make it on my own".
Wenn man sich das Lied einmal komplett anhört merkt man schnell, wie gut es wirklich ist. Ein klasse Refrain zusammen mit einer wunderbaren Stimme und einer Menge Energie, all das macht das Stück zu einem echten Hit-Aspiranten. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir davon noch so einiges im Radio und bestimmt auch in den Charts hören werden.

In keinem Club, auf keiner Party und auch im Radio kommt man gerade um den Hit "I know you wnt me" von Pittbull nicht herum. Gute Laune, ein dicker Beat, es passt einfach alles. Aber es geht auch ein wenig chilliger und entspannter. Das zeigt Pittbull mit dem Song "Across the world". Sehr lässig, mehr Elektrosound und alles auch eine Spur leiser. Nicht unbedingt der Track zum abgehen, aber hören kann man es trotzdem ganz gut.

Nelly Furtado - Manos Al Aire

Neuer Stoff von Nelly Furtado. Das spanischsprachige Werk "Manos al aire" kommt nicht mit ganz so viel Pepp daher wie andere Stücke ( Maneater ) aber hat dennoch ordentliches Hitpotential und klingt definitiv sehr angenehm. Zu hören ist "Manos al aire" auf dem ersten komplett spanischen Album "mi plan".
Die Single kommt am 31. Juli, das Album am 25. September in den Handel

Flo Rida feat Kesha - Right Round

Wenn man in die US-Charts guckt kommt man an Flo Ride grade einfach nicht herum. Sowohl die Hot Charts als auch die Digital-Charts sind fest in seiner Hand. Geschafft hat er es mit dem Song "Right Round", der ersten Singleauskopplung aus seinem neuen Album "R.O.O.T.S."(Routes of Overcoming the Struggle) . Unterstützung im Refrain erhielt er dabei von der Sängerin Kesha ( die sich unheimlich wie Kate Perry anhört! ).
Wer sich fragt wo er die Melodie oder das original Lied schonmal gehört hat, der sein an dieser Stelle an die Band "Dead or Alive" mit ihrem Hit "You spin me round" aus dem Jahre 1985 erinnert.

Josh Guru - Crying in the rain

Josh Guru, der Mann, der im letzten Jahr die Club-Charts dominiert hat wie kaum ein anderer ( Das Lied "Infinity" läuft ja immer noch ununterbrochen rauf und runter ) hat schon den nächsten potentiellen Burner am Start: "Crying in the rain" heißt das Teil ist wohl wirklich nur was für eingefleischte Musikfreunde der Szene. Vor allem der Anfang ist sehr Basslastig und gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber sobald der Gesang einsetzt wird es deutlich angenehmer. Aber wer weiß, wenn auch hier irgendwann ein guter Vocal-Mix auftaucht, ob es dann nicht auch im Mainstream erfolgreich sein kann...
