Hier kommt ein richtiger Kracher von der Band DÚNÉ. Der Track heißt "Heat" und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Da steckt richtig Dampf und Feuer drin, ein echter Knaller zum Abgehen. Rockig, aber nicht zu hart, also auch was für die breite Partymasse.
Den meisten dürften die Indie-Rocker Aus Dänemark noch nicht sonderlich bekannt sein, aber mit dem Song könnte sich das jetzt schlagartig ändern. Kann ich mir absolut gut in den Charts vorstellen.
Die Single "Heat" steht ab dem 31.7 im Handel.
Aktuell ist die Musik von Dune mit ihrem Track "Heat"in der Programmvorschau von Pro7 zu hören. Damit sollte es durchaus möglich sein, mehr Bekanntheit in deutschen Landen zu erlangen ;)

Nelly Furtado - Manos Al Aire

Neuer Stoff von Nelly Furtado. Das spanischsprachige Werk "Manos al aire" kommt nicht mit ganz so viel Pepp daher wie andere Stücke ( Maneater ) aber hat dennoch ordentliches Hitpotential und klingt definitiv sehr angenehm. Zu hören ist "Manos al aire" auf dem ersten komplett spanischen Album "mi plan".
Die Single kommt am 31. Juli, das Album am 25. September in den Handel

Cassandra Steen feat Adel Tawil - Stadt

Ex Glashaus-Frontfrau Cassandra Steen und ICH&ICH Frontman Adel Tavil als Gesangsduo. Viel mehr kann man auf der deutschen Musiklandschaft nicht erwarten, da haben sich wirklich 2 der ganz großen und erfolgreichen gefunden. Und dabei entstanden ist mit dem Song "Stadt" ein kraftvoller, positiv angehauchter Track rausgekommen. Der Beat ist auf den ersten Blick ( bzw beim ersten Hören ) ein wenig irritierend, weil sehr straight und nach vorne, aber es passt wirklich alles gut zusammen.
Das aktuelle Album von Cassandra Steen "Darum leben wir" wird damit wohl um einen weiteren Hit reicher ;)

Maxwell - Pretty Wings
Ein paar Jahre war es still um RnB Künstler Maxwell, aber nun ist er wieder da. Mit der Single "Pretty wings" liefert er uns ein kleines Kunstwerk, seine Stimme ist wie eh und je unverwechselbar und sehr ausdrucksvoll. Und die Musi tut ihr übriges, um aus dem ganzen einen sehr schönen, ruhigen und entspanntes Track zu machen. Einfach nur aufs Sofa legen und zuhören. Fantastisch.

Milow - You don't know

Wird das die nächste Singleauskopplung von Milow aus dem gleichnamigen Album? Man weiß es noch nicht, aber es ist gut möglich. Der Song "You don't know" ist auch einfach Klasse und steht dem aktuellen Hit "Ayo technology" in Sachen Qualität und Klang nichts nach. Ebenfalls ein Meisterwerk des belgischen Singer/Songwriters Milow. Auch wenn zuerst Ayo technology offiziell in den Handel gekommen ist (13.03) könnte "You don't know" ein gut vorstellbarer Nachfolger sein.
Um schonmal auf den Geschmack zu kommen könnt ihr hier das Video sehen und hören und die Lyrics lernen ;) Vorbereitung ist ja bekanntlich alles...

5Bugs - In Between

Guter Alternativ Rock aus der deutschen Hauptstadt Berlin, dafür stehen 5Bugs. Die seit nunmehr 8 Jahren bestehende Combo bringt in Kürze ihr 3 Album auf den Markt. Ein "Best off" Album mit eben diesem Titel. Die erste Single daraus wird der Song "in between" sein. Mit dem Eingangssatz der guten Musik ist dann im Grunde auch schon alles gesagt, genau das erwartet einen bei 5Bugs!

Wenn man in die US-Charts guckt kommt man an Flo Ride grade einfach nicht herum. Sowohl die Hot Charts als auch die Digital-Charts sind fest in seiner Hand. Geschafft hat er es mit dem Song "Right Round", der ersten Singleauskopplung aus seinem neuen Album "R.O.O.T.S."(Routes of Overcoming the Struggle) . Unterstützung im Refrain erhielt er dabei von der Sängerin Kesha ( die sich unheimlich wie Kate Perry anhört! ).
Wer sich fragt wo er die Melodie oder das original Lied schonmal gehört hat, der sein an dieser Stelle an die Band "Dead or Alive" mit ihrem Hit "You spin me round" aus dem Jahre 1985 erinnert.

Scissor Sisters - Do the strand

Neue Musik von den Scissor Sisters. Nach zweijähriger Pause haben die Scheren-Schwestern sich für das Kollaborationsalbum "War Child : Heroes" der Hilfsorganisation War Child den Track "do the strand" (im Original von Roxy Music) geschnappt und gecovert.
Eine sehr gute Aktion wie ich finde, es werden Kinder in Kriegsgebieten von dieser Aktion unterstützt und mit jedem Verkauften Album fließt ein Teil des Geldes in das War Chilf Projekt. Künstler wie Paul McCartney sind schon seit vielen Jahren mit der Unterstützung dieser Organisation verbunden.

Der Gentleman des RnB ist wieder da. Mit der neuen Single "Waiting" knüpft der Singer/Songwriter und Schauspieler "Ne-Yo" (sehr wahrscheinlich) mit einer klassischen Ballade an seine Erfolge aus dem Vorjahr an.
Sehr ruhig und gefühlvoll vorgetragen ist diese Single genau das richtige für ruhige Momente, in denen man am liebsten zu zweit nur chillen möchte...

Lacuna Coil mit neuem Album "Shallow Life"
Lang ist es um die Gruppe "Lacuna Coil still gewesen, aber zu Auftakt der kommenden Festivalsaison können sich Fans und Anhänger freuen. Nach Aussagen der Band wird es sich bei dem Album um einen Mix aus allen möglichen Einflüssen handeln:" alt und neu, hell und dunkel..." Es steht die Veröffentlichung des brandneuen Albums "Shallow Life" bevor. Der Release-Termin ist für den 17.04.2009 angesetzt.
Eine mögliche erste Singleauskopplung könnte dieser Song hier sein: "Spellbound".

Grandmaster Flash is back!!!
Nachdem es mehrere Jahre um einen der größten Pioniere im HipHop gewesen ist, kehrt der König der Turntable mit einem Branneuen Album zurück aus der Versenkung. Das neue Werk trägt den Namen "the Bridge" und wird Ende Februar veröffentlicht.

Prominente Unterstützung gibt es dabei von Red Cafe, Snoop Dogg und Lynda Carter.

Miley Cyrus - The Climb
So jung und doch schon eine ganz Große in Hollywood und dem Musikbusiness: Miley Cyrus - aka Hannah Montana - ist neben der sehr erfolgreichen Schauspielerei auch eine beachtliche Sängerin. Für ihren neuen Film " Hannah Montana - the Movie " präsentiert sie uns von ihrem noch nicht erschienen Soundtrack mit "the Climg" eine sehr gefühlvolle Ballade. Man bracht kein Hellseher zu sein um zu wissen, dass sowohl Film als auch Song definitiv zu einem Erfolg bzw. Hit werden.
Der Soundtrack - mit "the Climg- wird ab dem 24 März im Handel erhältlich sein, der Film hat seinen Kinostart am 4. Juni in Deutschland.

Morrissey - Throwing my arms around Paris

Der ehemalige Frontman der Smiths, Morrissey hat eine neue Single auf dem Markt. "Throwing my arms around Paris" ist die erste Auskopplung vom brandneuen Album "Years Of Refusal". Mit dieser Hommage an die französische Hauptstadt und Stadt der Liebe glänzt er trotz seines Alters mal wieder mit einem zeitlosen Song. Gutes bleibt eben gut, auch noch nach vielen Jahren...
Und es ist ein Zeichen dafür, dass ein Video nicht immer überladen werden muss mit Effekten und großen Klimbim. Es geht auch anders!

Neues vom Latinstar Enrique Iglesias. Zusammen mit der Hip-Hop- und R&B-Sängerin Ciara ( bekannt aus Projekten mit Missy Elliott oder Bow Wow ) wird mit "Taking back my love" die zweite Single aus dem Album "Greatest Hits" ausgekoppelt. Solide gemachte Popmusik ( ohne wirklich große Veränderung;) ), fetziger Bass und die unverkennbare Stimme machen das ganze zu einem gelungen Gesamtwerk.

Rihanna vs Chris Brown - Part 2
Nachdem in den letzten Tagen immer nur die Spekulationen um Rihanna herumschwirrten meldet sich jetzt der mutmäßliche Täter zu Wort. Auf dem Onlineportal "Facebook!" versucht er sich zu rechtfertigen oder aber sich gegen die imensen Vorwürfe zu verteidigen. Er wird mit den Worten zitiert: " Ihr werdet schon noch sehen wie Rihanna wirklich ist". Seinem Status nach zu Folge ist die Beziehung zwischen den beiden Sängern wohl Geschichte, Brown hat sich wieder als "Single" ausgegeben.

Wer Bekanntheiten wie Kanye West und Perez Hilton seine Fans nennen kann, der wird es ganz sicher zu etwas bringen. Die Rede ist von Milow, einem Singer-Songwriter aus Belgien. Die Single "Ayo Technologie" ist in Deutschland zwar noch nicht veröffentlicht, kann aber bereits als Video kostenlos angeschaut und bestaunt werden. Mit einer sehr schönen Stimme und der dazu passenden Gitarrenbegleitung macht Milow aus dem Song, den man bis dato nur in der Version von 50 Cent und Justin Timberlake kannte, ein ruhiges Entspannungswerk. Auf weiteren Output darf man sich freuen...

Selig - Schau Schau
Die hamburger Gruppe Selig meldet sich mit dem neuen Lied "Schau Schau" nach einer langen Schaffenspause (10 Jahre!) zurück auf der Bildfläche. Neben dem neuen Album “Und endlich unendlich” sowie der ersten Single ging die offizielle Homepage www.selig.eu online. Eingefleischte Fans dürfte es freuen, dass die Band auch zur anstehenden Festival-Saison wieder am Start sein wird.
Das neue Video zum Lied Schau Schau mit Elementen aus der Augsburger Puppenkiste oder aber Einflüssen von einem alten N Sync Song sind zu erkennen. Wer weiß, was damit gemeint sein könnte? :)
