In den Niederlanden schon seit langer Zeit kein Unbekannter kommt nun auch ( hoffentlich ) langsam die großartige Musik des Alain Clark in deutsche Gefilde.
Der Soul-Musiker hat mit seinem Debut-Album "Live It Out" in Holland gleich mal alles eingerissen was ging, 4 Top-10 Hits am Stück, fast ein Jahr Präsenz in den Charts, Doppelplatinstatus und Auszeichnungen ohne Ende.
Der hier vorgestellte Song "Father and Friend" ist die zweite Singleauskopplung aus eben diesem Album und ein wirklich Juwel. Nicht wie man es so oft von "Vater und Sohn- Lieder" ein Werk der Traurigkeit und der Depressiven Stimmung, sondern im Grunde das genau Gegenteil. Eine optimistisch, beschwingte und vor allem sympathische Stimmung macht sich beim ersten hören sofort breit. Zurücklehnen und genießen.
Auf die weiteren Hits von Alain Clark sei hier noch kurz hingewiesen: This Ain’t Gonna Work, Blow Me Away sowie Fell In Love lohnen sich auch definitiv einmal angespielt zu werden.
In Deutschland wird das Album "Live It Out" ab dem 15. Mai 2009 zu haben sein. Die Single "Father and Friend" kommt schon was eher, nämlich am 24. April in die Läden.
