Musik aus Schweden und ausnahmsweise mal nicht von Abba, A-ha oder weiteren üblichen Verdächtigen. Die Rede ist hier von Anna Ternheim mit ihrem Song "Make it on my own".
Wenn man sich das Lied einmal komplett anhört merkt man schnell, wie gut es wirklich ist. Ein klasse Refrain zusammen mit einer wunderbaren Stimme und einer Menge Energie, all das macht das Stück zu einem echten Hit-Aspiranten. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir davon noch so einiges im Radio und bestimmt auch in den Charts hören werden.

Das dürfte ein riesen Schock für alle Fans von Oasis sein: Noal Gallagher verläß die Band!
Wie auf der Homepage von Oasis zu lesen ist kann Noel es keinen Moment länger mit seinem Bruder Liam aushalten und verläßt daher die Gruppe ohne weiteres Zögern.
Er sei sowohl traurig aber auch erleichtert. Streit und Stress hatte es zwischen den Brüdern immer wieder gegeben, nun ist das Fass wohl endgültig übergelaufen.
Als Reaktion auf Noels Ausstieg soll Liam dann auch noch zu allem Überfluss Noels Gitarre zertrümmert haben.
Aktuelle Auftritte wurden schon abgesagt und es ist wohl nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, bis sich die komplette ( restliche ) Band dann auflösen wird.

Es wird vieles was nicht wirklich gut läuft in der Sdadt angersprochen und mit dem nötigen Witz rübergebracht. Wer aus Duisburg kommt oder nahe bei Duisburg wohnt wird vieles wiedererkennen und einigem sofort zustimmen können.

Die Liedermacher der Hymne auf Duisburg - Dat is Duisburg - sind mit einem neuen Stück am Start. "Angst vor Lissabon" heißt der Titel und ist stark politisch angehaucht, geht es doch um den EU-Reformvertrag - den meisten besser bekannt als Lissabon-Vertrag.

Lange hat man nichts mehr von Mr Wyclef Jean gehört. Aber das hat nun ein Ende. Mit dem Track "you don't wanna go outside" meldet sich der amerikanische Singer/Songwriter zurück. Klingt auf den ersten Blick / das erste Hören ein wenig fremd und gar nicht nach dem bekannten RnB Sound, aber mit der Zeit legt sich dieser Eindruck.

Der breiten Masse noch nicht so ganz bekannt, machen die "the von bondies" doch trotz allem richtig gute Musik. Mit dem Song "Pale Bride" steht auch aktuell ein frisches Video zur Verfügung. Es wird ordentlich gerockt und eine ganze Menge Energie frei. Viel mehr braucht man dazu auch gar nicht sagen. Just good music. Zum Mitsingen eignet sich vor allem der Refrain;)

Diesmal gibt es hier kein brandneues Lied zu hören, dafür aber eine absolute Video-Premiere zu feiern. Zu dem sehr schönen Stück "Melody" von Kate Earl gibt es jetzt ein sehr hübsches Video zu sehen.
Der Song ist wirklich gelungen, mit einem Refrain der zum Träumen einlädt und der wunderbar angenehmen Stimme von Frau Earl passt da einfach alles.
Zurücklehnen und genießen.
Wer solche Musik hört denkt mitunter schnell mal an die erfolgreiche Krankenhausserie "Grey's Anatomy", und genau so ist es auch;) Nicht genau dieses Lied, aber mit "Someone to love" konnte sie dort schon einmal auftrumpfen.

Neue Musik, wenn es mal wieder brennen sollte.
Mit diesem zugegeben schlechten Wortspielt soll auf die neue Single "Parallels" der Gruppe In case of fire hingewiesen werden.
Das sehr rockig und kraftvoll daherkommende Stück beginnt erstaunlich leise und ruhig, da denkt man zuerst an eine Schnulze a la Snowpatrol oder dergleichen.
Aber da geht es dann doch ganz anders zu ;)

Gar nicht so einfach gerade ein Video zum neuen Song "Lass mich fallen" der Gruppe "Panik" zu finden, aber dieses hier funktionier zur Zeit noch.
Als kleines Manko, oder aber auch netten Zusatz, ganz wie man es betrachtet, bekommt man gleich den SOngtext im Video mitgeliefert. Das ist jedoch kein Grund auf den hier gewohnten Service zu verzichten und keine Lyrics bereit zu stellen.

In keinem Club, auf keiner Party und auch im Radio kommt man gerade um den Hit "I know you wnt me" von Pittbull nicht herum. Gute Laune, ein dicker Beat, es passt einfach alles. Aber es geht auch ein wenig chilliger und entspannter. Das zeigt Pittbull mit dem Song "Across the world". Sehr lässig, mehr Elektrosound und alles auch eine Spur leiser. Nicht unbedingt der Track zum abgehen, aber hören kann man es trotzdem ganz gut.

Eisblume - Louise

Diesmal hat sich auch die Eisblume an einem bereits bestehendem Werk bedient und keine eigene Schöpfung aufgenommen. Doch auch wenn die Leistung nur in der Übersetzung des Songtextes vom Englischen ins Deutsche besteht, so ist doch mit dem Lied "Louise" ein echt nettes Stück dabei herausgekommen. Sehr ruhig und gefühlvoll. Da kann man echt nicht meckern.
Das Original kommt übrigens von der Band "Bell Book and Candle" und ist auf dem im Jahr 2006 erschienenen Album "Bigger" zu finden.

Max Herre, vielen noch bekannt als Mitglied der Freundeskreis-Combo, ist mit einem neuen Song und einem derbe coolen Video dazu am Start. Der Track heißt "geschenkter Tag" und macht mal richtig gute Stimmung. Wer auf den Text achtet merkt schnell, das da ein sehr positiver Grundtenor mitschwingt. Hat ein wenig was von "Gustav Gans" von den Beginnern. Das ist auf jeden Fall mal wieder ein ordentliches Stück Singer/Songwriter-Musik. Und auch kein 08-15 Video. Das kann was geben, auch wenn es nicht direkt für die Charts gemacht zu sein scheint. Aber gerade das ist ja auch mal sehr erfrischend.

Neue Musik von den Affen aus der Arktis. Die Artic Monkeys sind mit dem Track "Crying Lightning" wieder auf einem guten Weg in die Radios und Charts dieser Welt. Der Song ist eine klassische Rocknummer, es baut sich langsam ein Spannungsbogen auf, der jedoch nicht übertrieben hochgepusht wird und im Verlaufe des Liedes konstant hochgehalten wird. Auf jeden Fall eine höhrenswerte Nummer.
Und obendrein wird auch noch ein ganz interessantes Video gelieftert. Die vier Musiker in einer kleinen Mußschale irgendwo auf dem stürmischen Meer. Hat man so auch nocht nicht gesehen ;)

DÚNÉ - Heat

Hier kommt ein richtiger Kracher von der Band DÚNÉ. Der Track heißt "Heat" und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Da steckt richtig Dampf und Feuer drin, ein echter Knaller zum Abgehen. Rockig, aber nicht zu hart, also auch was für die breite Partymasse.
Den meisten dürften die Indie-Rocker Aus Dänemark noch nicht sonderlich bekannt sein, aber mit dem Song könnte sich das jetzt schlagartig ändern. Kann ich mir absolut gut in den Charts vorstellen.

Und noch ein Anwärter auf den diesjährigen Sommerhit. Die Strandsängerin Loona - bekannt aus der letzten Popstars Staffel als Jurymitglied - präsentiert hier ihren neuen Song "Parapapapapa". Der Sound hat sich seit Bailando nicht wirklich großartig verändert, der Beat stimmt und die Trompeten und Trommeln kennt man auch schon. Aber das muss ja nicht unbedingt ein Kritikpunkt sein, auf der anderen Seite trägt es auch zum schnellen Wiedererkennen bei ;)
Und gute Laune und Sommerstimmung kommt auf jeden Fall beim Hören auf.

Indie-Rock aus deutschen Landen, genauer aus Dinslaken in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Die neue Single der Band Kilians heißt "Hometown" und ist, wie man es von den Jungs gewohnt ist, echt gut zu hören. Es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis der Song seinen Weg ins Radio und hoffentlich auch die Charts geschafft hat.

Lange war es Still um Kate Ryan, doch nun ist sie wieder mit einem Song am Start. Babacar heißt das Stück. Sehr elektrolastig und die Melodie kommt einen irgendwie auch seltsam bekannt vor. Aber wenn man sich davon freimachen kann ist es ein solider Song, der in den Discos und Charts wahrscheinlich seinen Platz finden wird.
Optisch ist das Video zumindest ein echter Hingucker ;)

Auf ein neues Album darf man sich wohl dieses Jahr noch freuen. Termin steht aber noch nicht fest.

Britney Spears steht mit der nächsten - aktuell vierten - Singleauskopplung von ihrem überaus erfolgreichem Album "Circus" in den Startlöchern. "Radar" heißt der neue Song schlicht und einfach. Und es versteckt sich dahinter ein, wenn man so will, typischer Spears Popsong. Das Stimme verzerren zieht sich ja nun schon durch ein paar Lieder des ehemaligen Popsternchens. Ob es zum dicken Hit reicht muss man abwarten. Der ganz große Kracher ist beim ersten mal Hören nicht gleich zu erkennen. Aber das muss ja auch nichts heißen;)

Jennifer Rostock sorgen in der Musiklandschaft mal wieder für ein wenig deutsches Liedgut. Nelly Furtado - Manos Al Aire

Neuer Stoff von Nelly Furtado. Das spanischsprachige Werk "Manos al aire" kommt nicht mit ganz so viel Pepp daher wie andere Stücke ( Maneater ) aber hat dennoch ordentliches Hitpotential und klingt definitiv sehr angenehm. Zu hören ist "Manos al aire" auf dem ersten komplett spanischen Album "mi plan".

Die Single kommt am 31. Juli, das Album am 25. September in den Handel

Ballermann-Hit meets Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Mit dieser Beschreibung trifft man im Fall der Gruppe Maradona den Nagel voll auf den Kopf. Mit dem Song "Mexiko" steht ein absoluter Top-Kandidat für den Feten- Sommer-Sonne-Hit des Jahres in den Startlöchern. Einfacher Text, ideal zum mitsingen, dazu noch ein sehr geil gemachtes Video mit dezenzen Anspielungen auf den Film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", was will man mehr. Gute Stimmung kommt sofort beim ersten Hören auf und hält sich dann auch noch eine ganze Weile, so wie der Song im Ohr. Und grade jetzt wo das Wetter wirklich in die Richtung "sommerlich" tendiert und man den ersten Eimer Sangria oder auch wahlweise eine Runde Tequila schmeißen kann, kommt dieses Lied genau richtig :)

Space Cowboy aus England hat schon einiges mit lady Gaga produziert aber auch solo ist der etwas abgewrackt erscheinende Typ alles andere als erfolglos.
In Falling Down sehen wir ihn mit strubbeliger Frisur, Sonnenbrille und Anzug im Club abrocken. Sieht ein bisschen wie ein Mix aus Drogenopfer Pete Doherty und Amy Winehouse aus, macht aber sehr gut tanzbare Elektromucke und produziert mit den richtigen Leuten.

Auch wenn das Wetter noch nicht so wirklich sommerlich ist, so ist doch zumindest die Musik auf dem direkten Weg Richtung gute Laune und Sommer. Und mit den bekannten spanischen Gitarrenklängen sind auch Marquess mit dem Song "Arriba" ganz vorne mit dabei. Der Rythmus nimmt einen sofort mit und lädt zum Tanzen ein. Und gute Laune ist auch garantiert. So kann es weiter gehen. Das Lied wird man auf jeden Fall noch das ein oder andere mal diesen Sommer hören :)

Wer weiß, ob wir hier den Sommerhit 2009 vor Augen und Ohren haben...

Arriba wird die erste Singleauskoplung aus dem neuen Album "Compañía del Sol" sein.

Der Vollständigkeit halber soll hier auch noch die englische Version von "Indietro" präsentiert werden.
Dabei kommt dann auch Kelly Rowland mal zu Wort. Italienisch scheint ihr entweder nicht zu liegen oder Herr Ferro wollte das Lied in seiner Muttersprache einfach alleine singen... Wie auch immer, hier kommt der gleiche Song nochmal auf englisch.

Besser klingt es meiner Meinung zwar in der "Originalfassung", aber das soll am besten jedem selbst überlassen werden.

Tiziano Ferro blickt zurück. Zumindest läßt seine neuer Song "indietro" darauf schließen. Der italienische Pop-Star bringt damit nach einer Schaffenspause wieder ein neues Werk in die Läden.
Und wer stapft da noch so durch das Video? Genau, Kelly Rowland. Die Frau scheint aktuell gut beschäftigt zu sein, ist sie doch auch im Song von David Guerta "When love takes over" zu sehen und hören.

Der Song "Indietro" kommt im Grunde ruhig und ein wenig nachdenklich daher. Nicht wirklich traurig, aber viel fehlt auch nicht.

Ein heißer Kandidat für den Titel Sommerhit und auch Partyhit des Jahres. Ex Destiny's Child Sängerin Kelly Rowland im Zusammenspiel mit David Guetta haben meiner Meinung nach mit "When love takes over" genau den Ton getroffen, den man für einen erfolgreichen Song braucht. Gute Laune stellt sich ganz schnell ein und tanzbar ist das ganze dann auch noch. Und mit dem hier gezeigten Video gibt es auch gleich noch was in HD-Qualität auf die Augen. Was will man da mehr? Gutes Wetter, dann hat man aber auch schon alles ;)

Wer mehr von David Guetta hören möchte, dem sei das Album "one love" ans Herz gelegt.

Eine der vielfältigsten deutschen Bands meldet sich mit einem neuen Video zurück und schlägt gänzlich andere Töne an, die man von den Punkern der Toten Hosen eigentlich erwarten würde.
Auflösen heißt das neue Stück vom Album In aller Stille, für das Video wurde der deutsche Regisseur Wim Wenders verantwortet. Lady GaGa lässt sich auch immer was Neues einfallen! Erst die fast Nacktfotos denen sicher irgendwann die echten Nacktfotos folgen werden und immer wieder erfindet sich die Dame in Latex neu. Jetzt ist ihr neues Video zum Song Paparazzi erschienen und dort greift sie das für Stars sicher leidige Thema Paparazzi und Stalker auf. Mit einer ordentlichen Ladung Eigenironie fährt sie da im Rollstuhl umher, küsst wild umher oder präsentiert neue Outfits die garantiert nochmal ihre Anhängerschaft finden werden

Liegt es daran dass der Sommer unmittelbar vor der Tür steht und durch die gestiegenen Temperaturen die Hüllen schneller fallengelassen werden? Man könnte zumindest den Eindruck davon bekommen, dass viel nackte Haut zeigen grade der ganz große Trend ist.
Und von Trends kennt sich Mr. Kanye West ja bekanntlich sehr gut aus. Bei seinem aktuellen Track "Paranoid" läßt er Popsternchen und Prügelopfer Rihanna in einem Hauch von Nichts in durch sein Video tanzen. Eine sehr gelungene Mischung. Sowohl für das Auge als auch das Ohr ist etwas dabei. Da kann mich sich doch wirklich auf dem Sommer freuen :)

Pussycat Dolls - Hush Hush

Nachdem gestern der erste (beinahe) nackte Star präsentiert werden konnte legt nun die Frontfrau der Pussycat Dolls - Nicole Scherzinger - nach. Im neuen Video der singenden und tanzenden Puppen zum aktuellen Song "Hush Hush" ist sie, so wie Gott - und vielleicht der ein oder anderen SChönheitschirurg - in der Badewanne zu bewundern. Einzig die Kameraperspektive und ein wenig Schaum läßt noch ein wenig Spielraum für die Fantasie. Damit dürfte auch der nächste Track vom Album "Doll Domination" zu einem Hit werden. Presse ist mit so einem Video auf jeden Fall gesichert.
Nach der relativ ruhigen Einleitung durch die Badewannenszene gibt der Song auch richtig Gar, mit ordentlich Bass und der gewohnt gekonnten Tanzperformance der gesamten Gruppe.

Als kleines Schmanckerl wurde sogar das Lied "I will survive" am Ende verarbeitet ;)

Hier kommt definitiv was für Auge und nicht für die Ohren. Die Durchstarterin des Jahres, Lady GaGa, hat für das Rolling Stone Magazin beinahe komplett blank gezogen. Klamotten trägt die gute nicht mehr am Leid, dafür bedecken nur noch ein paar Seifenblasen das nötigste. Alle Fans wird dieses Cover ganz bestimmt erfreuen.

Krebs ist ein Arschloch, macht aber auch vor genialen Menschen wie dem Sänger der Band Depeche Mode nicht halt.
Der Tumor wurde entfernt, doch es versteht sich von selbst dass Gahan jetzt erstmal regenerieren muss. Die Konzerttermine werden verschoben bzw. so schnell wie möglich nachgeholt. Hier kommt mal wieder was für die entspannten Stunden. Ein sehr gefühlvoll vorgetragener Song. Auf den ersten Blick / das erste Hören könnte man einen Künstler ala Ne-Yo erwarten, aber weit gefehlt. Es handelt sich um Taio Cruz mit dem Song "Everybody's Changing". Wirklich schön, schön traurig und ein klein wenig melancholisch. Sowohl Künstler als auch Song haben großes Potential. Der Vollständigkeit halber muss hier angemerkt werden, dass es sich um ein Keane-Cover handelt. Aber nichts desto trotz, es ist einfach klasse ;)

Amerika hat einen neuen Superstar. Genauer gesagt ein neues Idol. Der Gewinner des Jahres 2009 heißt Kris Allen. Stimme top und Charisma hat er auch. Aber was anderes konnte man auch nicht erwarten, Schließlich schaffen es die Amis, im Gegensatz zu uns, ja wirklich Leute mit Star-Potential zu finden. Kelly Clarkson ist ja nicht nicht ein paar Wochen und nicht nur in den Usa bekannt gewesen, sondern hat den Sprung ins richtige Musikgeschäft geschafft. Und wieder einmal überraschen die Black Eyed Peas mit einem ganz neuen Sound. Irgendwie futuristisch angehaucht, für die sonstigen Verhältnisse auch ruhig und entspannt und gar nicht so vor Kraft strotzend wie man es sonst gewohnt ist. Daft Punk kommt mir da spontan in den Sinn wenn ich den Song höre. Wie auch immer man das Varieren der Musikstile der Black Eyed Peas auch immer finden mag, man kann nicht sagen, dass sie nichts neues ausprobieren und nicht wandlungsfähig sind.

Sind die Backstreet Boys in der aktuellen Besetzung noch die alten? Das muss wahrscheinlich jeder Fan für sich entscheiden, ob es die Jungs noch ohne Kevin Richardson drauf haben. Auf jeden Fall gibt es was neues von den verbliebenden Künstlern zu hören. Der neue Song "Fallen Angel" klingt nach dem gewohnten Backstreet Boys Sound. Na, wer hat heute Abend auch alles das lange erwartete, groß promotete und sehnlich erwartete Finlae von GNTM ( germanys next top model ) mit Heidi Klum und den letzte drei Mädels auf Pro7 gesehen. Neben der gewohnten Show wurde auch wieder ordentlich Musik gespielt. Zu nennen wären da unter anderem A-ha, Queensberry und auch Emiliana Torrini. Diese noch nicht ganz so bekannte Künstlerin war mit dem Song "jungle drum" zu hören. Gar nicht mal schlecht das Lied, hat pepp und kann einiges.

Mal wieder keine echte Eigenleistung, aber der Erfolg gibt ihm Recht. Flo Rida bringt nach "Right Round" einen weiteren alten Song im neuen Musikgewand auf den Markt. Für den neuen Track "Sugar" bedient er sich teilweise dem Lied "Blue" von Eifel 65. Klingt irgendwie schon ein wenig albern und gar nicht nach dem harten, coolen und abgeklärten Rapperimage, dass man immer vor Augen hat. Aber nun gut, man wird sehen wie viel man damit erreichen kann. Mit der aktuellen Erfolgswelle im Rücken wird es bestimmt keine totaler Misserfolg.
